A public meeting is scheduled for January 9, 2012 at Mississauga City Hall with respect to the vacant lands east of Tenth Line. Proposals include;

1. permitting a plan of subdivision to build detached, semi detached and townhomes, a community park and the preservation of the woodlot
2. to change the zoning of the vacant lands 
3. The existing Mississauga Plan will need to be amended to change the zoning from "Residential- Low density II" to "Public open space" to reflect the relocation of the community Park 
4. The Official Mississauga Plan which currently designates the vacant land as "Residential Low Density II" "Residential Medium Density" and "Public Open space" will need to be ammended to implement the current proposal
